Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology
Industrial and Organisational Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour in the production, distribution and consumption of the goods and services of society. As an applied science, it has the further objective, apart from explaining behaviour, also to provide practical guidelines towards predicting and controlling behaviour with a view to efficiency and human psychological welfare.
The department’s tuition offering meets the demands of today’s fast changing environment. The curriculum is designed to produce competent industrial and organisational psychology practitioners and for those wishing to pursue an academic career in this field.
