UNISA Department of Auditing
The Department of Auditing at the University of South Africa (Unisa) was established in 1962 as the only independent Auditing Department at any South African university. The Department offers tuition in both English and Afrikaans by way of distance education and offers subjects in external, internal, forensic and computer auditing for the BCom, BAdmin and BCompt degrees.
The Department of Auditing is part of the School of Accountancy in the College of Accounting Sciences. The Department offers various undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in external, internal, forensic and computer auditing, each having its own unique contribution to the professional business environment.
